I appreciate your story and your struggle to find that meaningful spiritual connection and relationship with God. I hope you will continue reading and sharing your insights. My wife was raised Catholic but only began following Jesus towards the end of her college years.

Was raised Catholic, but left the church in my late teens, as the dogma and church hierarchy got in the way of Christ's actual message. Have continued to search for a meaningful spiritual connection. However refreshing to find in this blog someone who is actually trying to live according to Christ's teachings.
